California-Based Pastor and Counselor Chris Hilken

An experienced pastor and counselor, Christopher “Chris” Hilken has counseled countless couples across California over the past several years. Throughout this time, Chris Hilken has primarily worked with married or engaged couples and has also officiated many marriage ceremonies.

Alongside this, he has been a speaker through NU Ministries since 2015. Through the organization, he has taken part in over 100 speaking events, including at conferences and youth camps. He has also consulted with other churches and focused on helping them grow.

In working with these organizations, Christopher Hilken draws on a decade of experience as a pastor with North Coast Church. Since joining the church, he has helped it increase weekly attendee numbers from 7,500 to 13,000. Alongside his pastoral duties, he is responsible for the creative direction of Sticky Teams, the church’s leadership conference.

When he joined the church, he was one of the youngest teaching pastors at a mega-church across the country. Before this, Chris Hilken attended Concordia University, where he earned his bachelor of science in theological studies.
